What does this quote mean by Pablo Pico?
I think he's saying that to become complacent as an artist is 'dangerous' for his creativity. If he becomes too big headed because he's making money from his art, then his work couds suffer and become stale, and stagnant. Pico was one of the few artists who actually became rich and famous whilst still being alive (most famous artists are dead before anyone takes any notice of their work). I think he was trying to say he would not allow fame and riches to stop him from searching and striving. He would not let art become something that made him money or gave him riches, as then it would just be a job not a pion.
