Don't you think some bridesmaids' dresses should be outlawed forever?

My friend is getting married and we went to try on the maids' dresses yesterday. And they were beyond heinous. She decided to pick Pepto-Bismol pink with ruffles!!! It casts an ugly glow against my hair. And the 7 of us are going to be sticking out like sore thumbs at the outdoor wedding. While the guys get to wear their sleek black tuxes. I know it’s her big day and all but that dress is freakin’ humiliating. They were all in my wedding and they got to wear strapless chic pale lilac satin dresses. I don’t really care much about having to wear that hideous dress but my single friends who were planning on having a good time at the wedding are SOL. Should we gently suggest that she tones down the ugliness or should we just suck it up and go with it?
